Snow Rescue Team
From lost cross country skiiers, and snowmobilers, to those caught in avalanche... we are there.
Mountain Rescue Team
Huckleberry pickers, dirt bikers, off-trail hikers, and children who sneak off from campsites... we are there.
Water Rescue Team
Fishermen, boaters, and river raft floaters... we are there.
Drone Locate Team
When the terrain is too dark or dangerous for foot searches, our aerial team continues the search from the sky... we are there
Here to Serve
Silver Valley Search & Rescue (SVSAR) is a local, independent non-profit organization that serves the Shoshone County Sheriff Department.
We also provide backup assistance to Search and Rescue teams in neighboring counties when called upon.
Our members are avid outdoorsmen, hunters, skiiers, snowmobilers, radio techs, and drone pilots who use their passion to serve and make a difference here in the Silver Valley.
